Ali Mardi, a co-founder of Anantya, brings over 28 years of professional experience in the financial, accounting, and tax domains. His extensive career has encompassed diverse professional engagements, such as auditing, financial and tax due diligence, merger and acquisition, tax consulting, corporate structuring, contract negotiations, and IPO support.

Before establishing Anantya, Ali held various pivotal roles, including a decade as a Tax Partner at PwC Indonesia and Deloitte Indonesia. He also served as the Group CFO of an Indonesian-based oil and gas conglomerate and as the Group Head of Tax at GoTo Group, a prominent Indonesian-listed technology company.

During his professional journey in both Indonesia and the Netherlands, Ali has acquired a broad spectrum of industry exposure, spanning sectors like coal and hard rock mining, oil and gas, utilities, telecom, consumer products, logistics, technology/digital, and plantation.

Ali earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Economics at Tarumanagara University in 1995. He furthered his academic pursuits by attaining a master’s degree in MM Strategic Management from Prasetiya Mulya Business School in 2015. Ali is a distinguished professional, holding registrations as a Tax Consultant (Brevet C), a Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Indonesian Institute of Accountants, and a registered CPA Australia.

Budi Sulistiono

Budi Sulistiono, a co-founder of Anantya, possesses extensive expertise in navigating tax disputes across various realms, including corporate tax, withholding tax, value-added tax, international taxation, and transfer pricing (TP) cases. Budi holds a Tax Consultant License from the Ministry of Finance and is a Tax Court Attorney at the Indonesian Tax Court.

Before joining the Anantya team, Budi dedicated 25 years to the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT). His tenure culminated with him serving as a Tax Audit Supervisor, where he frequently conducted TP audits for companies affiliated with multinational corporations. Following his distinguished service at DGT, Budi contributed his wealth of experience to Deloitte Indonesia for three years, holding the position of Senior TP Manager, overseeing TP documentation and managing TP disputes. He later moved to Assegaf Hamzah and Partners (Rajah & Tann Asia Network), specializing as a TP and Tax Dispute Specialist for a year. During this period, he handled numerous tax dispute cases, including pre-investigation tax audits.

Budi commenced his academic journey by obtaining a Diploma 4 in Accounting from Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara (STAN) in 2000. In 2018, he ventured to the Netherlands to pursue his International Tax Law (LL.M.) postgraduate program at Leiden University. His professional accolades include being a registered Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Professional Management Accountant (CPMA), Certified Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (CPSAK), and a registered Tax Consultant (BKP). Notably, he recently achieved an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation, United Kingdom.
